Black People Know Things (BPKT) was born in the Summer of 2020. While COVID had the world shut down, founder Darian Wilson wanted to hold a social event to help Black people connect and unwind. In its first year, he hosted 10 online trivia events. In April 2022, BPKT debuted in-person at Wah Gwaan Brewery in Denver, Colorado. BPKT now hosts monthly trivia nights and other special events. We continue to expand to create a robust in-person community for Black people in Denver and elsewhere.
With a recent move to the New England area, we are in the process of expanding our operations to a few new cities while continuing our events in Denver.
